On Thursday, January 12, 2024, the Society for Simulation in Healthcare announced its Articles of Influence for 2022-2023. Of the 213 articles published in the 4 major healthcare simulation journals, 31 articles were selected. Special sessions will be held at IMSH 2024 on the findings of these publications.

Two CMS articles were selected: “Teaching, coaching, or debriefing With Good Judgment: a roadmap for implementing “With Good Judgment” across the SimZones,” authored by Mary K. Fey, Christopher J. Roussin, Jenny W. Rudolph, Kate J. Morse, Janice C. Palaganas & Demian Szyld and published in Advances in Simulation (https://advancesinsimulation.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s41077-022-00235-y).

“Leading change in practice: how ‘longitudinal prebriefing’ nurtures and sustains in situ simulation programs,” authored by Susan Eller, Jenny Rudolph, Stephanie Barwick, Sarah Janssens & Komal Bajaj and published in Advances in Simulation (https://advancesinsimulation.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s41077-023-00243-6).

We previously recorded Grand Rounds talks with authors Susan Eller, Jenny Rudolph, and Komal Bajaj on longitudinal prebriefing, and with authors Kate Morse, Mary Fey, and Jenny Rudolph on teaching, coaching, and debriefing with good judgment.
