Most simulation leaders start the same way:

  • You’re great at teaching.
  • You know how to design sim cases and run debriefings.
  • You’re the go-to person whenever the manikins need to be fixed.

Then suddenly, you’re responsible for people, budgets, strategy, and program survival.

If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone.

We created the new Simulation Leadership Intensive course to specifically address the leadership challenges that simulation educators and program leaders face every day, but were never formally trained to handle.

Inaugural Course date: August 24-26, 2026

Grounded in the Center for Medical Simulation’s Leading with Good Judgment approach, the course focuses on practical leadership capabilities you can use immediately:

• Strengthen your leadership presence and emotional agility
• Build motivated, psychologically safe teams
• Navigate budgets, organizational politics, and partnerships
• Lead simulation programs that create sustainable impact

Apply here to join our new course. You’ll leave with concrete tools, and a peer network of leaders facing the same challenges.

Seats are already filling for August. Space is limited and applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

Athletes have coaches – and leadership is no different. Jenny Rudolph’s Leading with Good Judgment Coaching helps professionals turn everyday workplace challenges into leadership “reps” that build clarity, confidence, and impact. Through individual or small-group coaching, leaders develop the mindset and conversational tools to lead teams, navigate conflict, and grow their influence.

Jenny hosts the Curious Now podcast, exploring how everyday workplace moments—especially the messy ones—can become powerful leadership workouts.
