Congratulations to Rebecca Minehart, MD, MSHPEd, Director of Anesthesia Programs at the Center for Medical Simulation on the recent publication of Comprehensive Healthcare Simulation: Anesthesiology. Dr. Minehart is an editor and contributor for the book along with Bryan Mahoney, MD, (Mount Sinai St Luke’s and West Hospitals Department of Anesthesiology), and May Pian-Smith, MD, MS, (Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts General Hospital Department of Anesthesia, Critical Care and Pain Medicine, and the Center for Medical Simulation).

The publication is a part of the Comprehensive Healthcare Simulation series that covers topics ranging from technology and innovation to interprofessional training.

Dr. Minehart is an obstetric anesthesiologist at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), an Assistant Professor of Anesthesia at Harvard Medical School, and the Program Director for the MGH Obstetric Anesthesia Fellowship. She is currently leading the roll-out of new scenarios for CMS’ MOCA® and Crisis Resource Management for Practicing Anesthesiologists workshops.
