Boston Simulation Community Meeting

Blog - Boston Simulation Community Meeting

Please join us Tuesday, October 16, 2018 5:30PM-7:00PM for the Boston Simulation Community Meeting hosted at the Center for Medical Simulation.

Simulation is a tool that holds up a mirror, and allows us to observe our actions and performance in the healthcare setting. Mindfulness practice also holds up a mirror, in that we gain insights into our thoughts, feelings, and attitudes. Taken together, both practices have the potential to radically change how we operate in healthcare. At this meeting, we will learn about “The Intersection of Mindfulness and Simulation in Healthcare” presented by Edwin Ozawa MD, PhD, an Anesthesiologist at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center and an At Large Director for the Society for Simulation in Healthcare.
