On Thursday, March 18th, the Center for Medical Simulation’s (CMS) Chris Roussin, PhD, Jenny Rudolph, PhD and the Massachusetts General Hospital’s (MGH) Collen Snydeman, RN, PhD gave a National Patient Safety Awareness Week online Keynote Presentation for Mass General Brigham team members. The presentation was on CMS’ CircleUp ©, a supportive system of interdisciplinarty work-based briefing, peer check-ins, and debriefing to boost clarity, coordination, and resilience for healthcare team members. CircleUp offers a proactive, rather than reactive process of peer support that promotes better communication and improves the psychological well-being of team members.

Jenny Rudolph, PhD is the Executive Director of CMS.
Colleen Snydeman, RN, PhD, is the Executive Director of the Nursing & Patient Care Services’ Office of Quality and Safety at MGH General Hospital.
