The Center for Medical Simulation (CMS) is pleased to announce that Roxane Gardner MD, MSHPEd, DSc and the Sr. Director of Clinical Programs at CMS  has been accepted into the Faculty Fellowship for Leaders in Collaborative and Humanistic Interprofessional Education at Boston Children’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School.  She is one of 11 clinicians accepted into this national multi-site project.

Boston Children’s Hospital (BCH)/Harvard is one of the national sites, and the first pediatric site, chosen to implement curricula to develop leaders who will serve as collaborative role models committed to creating successful strategies to educate others about humanism and to developing future generations of IPE leaders at their institutions. The program at Boston Children’s Hospital/ Harvard Medical School is unique in that it has been designed as a Faculty Fellowship, rather than convening a seminar.

Roxane will be part of a larger cohort of interprofessional leaders and evolving leaders in interprofessional education from the following participating institutions: University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine, David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, University of Minnesota Medical School, Yale School of Medicine, University of Massachusetts Medical School, and Indiana University School of Medicine.  A link to the Fellowship webpage is available at: http://ipepweb.org/faculty-fellowship-interprofessional/

Congratulations Roxane!
