Jenny Rudolph, PhD, Executive Director of CMS and Robert Simon, Ed. D, Senior Director, Educational Leadership International Programs at CMS join Yue Dong, MD, Patient Safety and Health Care Delivery Researcher at the Mayo Clinic with one of the first copies of the Mandarin DASH ©. Drs. Rudolph, Simon, and Dong have worked with David Li Li from Guangzhou, China, to have the DASH tool translated to Mandarin. After the Mandarin DASH goes through a final round of accuracy checks, the finished version will be made available to the public on the CMS website.
The DASH is currently available in five languages: English, German, Japanese, French, and Spanish. Users can choose a language to view the tool in by selecting the flag icons located on the left side of the DASH page.
CMS offers an online training workshop on how to use the DASH effectively within simulation and healthcare environments. To register for an upcoming workshop, please go to the Debriefing Assessment for Simulation in Healthcare (DASH) Rater Training Workshop page.
